A COMMUNITY GATHERING TO CELEBRATE 25 SEASONS OF FARMING & FRESH FOOD ACCESS!

Celebrate with us, raise awareness for our mission, programs, and the beautiful farmland we steward at the Waltham Field Station.

Enjoy a locally-sourced meal, seated at one long table in the field, complemented with lots of farm veggies! 

Proceeds support WFCF education and outreach programs.

Supper guests will enjoy a meal prepared by our friends at Season to Taste Catering in Cambridge and be seated alongside the vital agricultural fields where much of the food was grown. Joining us on the farm for this event means you will enjoy a mindfully prepared, locally sourced meal in a spectacular setting! You will also be supporting Waltham Field’s education and food security initiatives, which provide hands-on outdoor education programs and increased access to sustainably grown, local food, to our neighbors in need of greater nourishment.

Cancellations Because seating is limited and food is purchased in advance, all tickets are nonrefundable. Please send a friend if you are not able to attend.

Rain Date Please note, in the case of rain, the event will be held the following evening, on Wednesday, August 14.

Drinks Included in the ticket price is a selection of thirst-quenching, locally produced beer selections from our supportive friends at Mighty Squirrel Brewery and Cambridge Brewing Company, rosé wine, and seltzers.

Seating Supper will be served family-style at one long table. If you wish to be seated with friends, please arrive promptly at 6 pm. Later guests will be seated based on available seats.

BYOP! This is a bring your own beautiful plate supper! As with some other non-profit farm-to-table suppers, we ask you to bring a plate from home to adorn our beautiful table setting and help us reduce the cost of rentals. We love how this also adds a bit of your uniqueness to the gathering. We will have volunteers at the end of supper, who will scrape and rinse your plate for you to take home.

Music Somerville musicians, Banjovillian will play their fiddles and banjos for us from 6-7pm and we are super excited to welcome them back to the farm!

What’s on the menu? Appetizers to begin the evening, and a meal of smoked pork shoulder, tofu with sweet and sticky sauce, cornbread, and three scrumptious vegetable dishes to highlight the week’s harvest on the farm, seasonal fruit, fresh whipped cream, and housemade buttermilk biscuits! Due to the nature of this special event, we are not able to accommodate dietary restrictions beyond the planned menu (which will be delish!)
