In this club, Garden Teen Corps members will learn about sustainable agriculture, food justice, food systems as well as develop their hands-on farming and leadership skills.  Through cooperative planning, planting and maintaining the Learning Garden; caring for and feeding our animals; and harvesting and preparing meals with the vegetables we grow, this is an excellent opportunity for teens looking to develop their skills.

----

Waltham Fields Community Farm promotes local agriculture and food access through our farming operations and educational programs, using practices that are socially, ecologically, and economically sustainable. We encourage healthy relationships between people, their food supply, and the land from which it grows. Our Learning Garden Programs enable hands-on learning about science and natural ecosystems, crop production and the farm environment, nutrition and food choices, and group cooperation.
